Real-money friends tournaments — terms & notices

This notice is for information only and is not legal advice. Last updated: April 2026.

Important. Payment features use Stripe. You do not need to call the Stripe API yourself to read this page. Keys are only required on the server to process payments when you enable real-money tables.

1. No legal advice

Nothing here creates a lawyer–client relationship. Laws on poker, wagering, and payments differ by country, region, and city. Before offering or joining real-money play, obtain advice from a qualified professional where you live and operate.

2. Eligibility & jurisdiction

  • You must be at least the legal age of majority where you reside (often 18).
  • You may not use this feature where it is unlawful. You are solely responsible for determining whether private social play with stakes is permitted for you.
  • The software is provided as a tool for private groups; it does not constitute a licensed gambling service or an offer to the public in regulated markets.

3. Nature of the service

Real-money mode is intended for small, voluntary buy-ins among people who know each other (e.g. friends). The site operator does not run a house bank against players and does not promise profit. Tournament payouts are facilitated via Stripe; network and processor fees may apply and reduce amounts received.

4. Stripe & payments

  • Buy-ins and certain payouts may be processed by Stripe, Inc. and are subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement and Stripe Services Agreement where applicable.
  • Card and bank rules, fraud checks, and holds are determined by Stripe and financial partners—not by this app alone.
  • Test mode (test API keys) uses no real money; live mode requires live keys and proper Stripe account setup.

5. Welcome credit (limited promotion)

The site may credit a one-time welcome amount (see the lobby — typically credited after email verification) for the first qualifying new accounts, limited to one credit per browser/device cookie. Promotional wallet credits are not cash until you meet the same withdrawal rules as everyone else — including a minimum lifetime amount staked in real-money games and completed Stripe Connect / address checks when those features are enabled. The operator may change, pause, or end this promotion at any time (including under heavy or abusive traffic).

6. Your responsibilities

  • Taxes: You are responsible for reporting and paying any taxes on winnings or transfers as required by your jurisdiction.
  • Disputes between players: The operator is not a party to private bets between friends. Resolve conflicts among yourselves; this software does not provide dispute resolution or escrow beyond what Stripe enables.
  • Account security: Keep your login credentials private. Anyone using your account is treated as you.

7. Risks

  • You can lose money you stake. Only play with amounts you can afford to lose.
  • Technical failures (network, server, third-party outages) may affect play or settlement timing.
  • If you feel you may have a gambling problem, seek help from local support organizations and consider using only play-money tables.

8. Disclaimer of warranties & limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator and contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this software or payment flows, including lost stakes or failed transfers, except where liability cannot be excluded by mandatory law.

9. Changes

These notices may be updated. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised text where allowed by law.
